Properties of activated (ionized) water
Properties of activated water depend on concentration of hydrogen ions in it. “pH” is the conventional unit used for evaluation of hydrogen ions concentration, and it may vary from 0 to 14 points. The natural water is neutral and its pH level is approximately 7,0. Once this parameter goes up from 7 to 14 points, such water becomes alkaline. The pH level of the alkaline water used for prophylactics and curing is 8,0 to 10,5 points. Once the pH level goes below 7 (to 1) , the water becomes acidic. The pH of the acidic water used for curing and prophylactics is 5,5 to 2,5. Variations equal to 0,5 pH are considered unimportant.
Acidic water (also called anolyte and liveless water) is clear and colourless liquid having odour of an acid and sourish. This water has bactericidal qualities and is an excellent disinfectant. It slows bioprocesses of the organism, has tranquillising effect, improves ones sleep and gives relief in case of pain in joints as it has capability of dissolving salts. Regular rinsing of mouth cavity after meals stops bleeding of the teeth gums, the mouth cavity gets well-disinfected, and scaling on teeth gradually disappear. This water is good disinfectant for dressings and bandages, underwear, clothes, foot wear, various tare, fruit, vegetables, premises and even soil in flower pots or garden beds. This water is very efficient in treatment of cold and diarrhoea in humans, animals and foul. Women can easily make acidic water having well-advertised pH=5,5 and wash their skin leaving aside the expensive imported cosmetic preparations. Anolyte moisturises various surfaces and well penetrates into the skin improving acidity level of the organism. Acidic water is for external use.
In addition to its acidic qualities this water is induced with positive electric charge of 0,9 to 1,0 V and it helps to reinforce its effect. If stored in tightly covered ware, the water will retains its qualities for several weeks.
On completion of additional tests it has been established that the anolyte (liveless water) produced in electrolysers PTV-K and PTV-A using table salt (NaCl) in potable water 5 % solution will acquire additional bactericidal qualities. The electrolyser may be damaged in case the concentration of said solution is higher. Such anolyte within 30 minutes reduced the vitality of bacteria to the level required by the standard and maintained such qualities for not less than 5 hours.
Anolyte may be used for disinfecting and cleansing sanitary equipment (sinks, toilet pans, bath tubs) table ware, toys, laundry items and floor cloths, footwear, nursing items, plastic waste, premises, surfaces, furniture, etc.
In all cases the solution used for the above purposes may be disposed by simply pouring it to the sewer system without any additional treatment.
Alkaline water (catholyte, live water) - is turbid greyish liquid, but after electrolysis is will soon become clear: deposit of various water salts will settle down. The more admixture the water contains, the more deposit will settle down. Live water is very soft, tasteless and resembles rainwater. It stimulates bioprocesses of the organism, gently increases blood pressure, promotes accessibility of nutrients, improves appetite, and gives energy and briskness. This water is good and efficient in for treatment of various skin cuts, incisions, gastric ulcer, bedsores, etc. The alkaline water revitalises faded flowers and picked up green vegetables that would look very fresh. The seeds having been kept in it before planting would sprout faster and if watered regularly would give faster and bigger yield. This water is good for washing and laundering.
In addition to its alkalinity the live water is induced with negative electric charge of about 0,7 to 0,9 V. It loses its qualities faster than the acidic water, however if stored in a tightly sealed ware (no contacts with outside air) it preserves them for about a week.

As is clear from the above the anolyte and the catholyte have different qualities which can be successfully applied in daily life.
As the activated water is most efficient when fresh-made, so there is no reason to produce big volumes of it for storing. The best thing is to generate the required quantity and use it for the purposes intended. The leftover maybe used for watering flowers, washing, etc.
It is not worth while storing the activated water in a refrigerator. It is not recommended to boil it. When boiling, its concentration goes down and electrolyte qualities (oxidation-reduction potentials) get reduced. However, those who want to experience new taste of tea or coffee, may use liver (alkaline) water for making it.
Quite often we are asked a question about how does the healing effect of the activated water manifests itself.
The most important thing is that both the alkaline (live) and acidic (liveless) water by their electrolytic features are close to liquid matters of the organism (blood, intercellular liquid, lymph, etc.) that is why such water is immediately join vital activities of the body. Also it is very important that this water is natural product activating healing potentials of the organism.
